Yesterday I had one of the funnest days all summer! I went to Valley Fair Mall with Nathan Stolp and messed around and saw a movie and then he came to my house and had dinner and we went a rather funny walk around the block! :) I had a TON of fun!! :D
I dared him to fit inside the ship!! ;)
"You're taking pictures???!!" :P
Stole the hat ;) Well he gave it to me :P
That grin! Haha makes me giggle a little every time I see it! ;)
My arm wasn't long enough..... :P
Do you see his face?? He climbed my tree! ;)
With me down at the bottom freaking out that he was going to hit the electrical wires that are right above that tree.... :O
The hat that I gave him for his birthday! :D Says it's his new favorite! :D
When you are a senior and a majority of your friends are seniors then that means....GRADUATION PARTIES!!!!!!! :D I hopped to three different parties last night and each one was a blast!! :
I went to Perry's party first and that was just awesome! :) Got to see him and other friends! :) Perry is headed off the University of Utah this fall :) I am very excited for him :)

After Perry's I went straight to one of my oldest and best friend's party! Ellen!! I've been friends with Ellen since the 2nd grade. She is headed off to BYU-Idaho this fall. I am so excited for her and I can't wait to join her in a couple years!! I'll miss her like crazy though!!

Then last of all I wenr ro a party that absolutely made my whole week!! :D I wasn't even aware until the last minute that I was even going :) I went to Tyler Barber's party!!! I haven't seen Tyler since December and that has absolutely killed me!!! He is one guy friend that I have had and has tolerated me a lot longer than any other one has. His reaction when I showed up was priceless :) I've missed him like crazy! Tyler is planning on going on his mission before college and I am pysched for him! I am gonna miss him, but it will be awesome to have one of my best friends in the mission field :)

This last weekend was the competition I look forward to the most every year! The Dixie Spectacular competition is in St. George, Utah. I absolutely love going there! This year I had such a blast! Well, I feel like instead of talking I should just post pictures! ;) Click on one to blow it up :)
This year I am learning for myself what a true friend is and what it means to be one myself.
The beginning of this year did not start out easy for me. I offended a close friend of mine to the point that he refuses to speak to me. That experience really hurt me. I went from a bubbly person to someone in a really deep state of depression. I did my part in trying to mend things with this friend, but I had no success. I went through some really rough things with myself. I couldn't seem to forgive myself for offending him. My remark that offended him wasn't meant to be offensive so that made it all the more harder for me. After about 3 weeks of crying myself to sleep literally every night I had decided that I was sick of being the sad person I was. No one wanted to be around me if I was going to be so down about everything. I started to realize that because I was choosing to let losing that friend affect my happiness I was losing the other friends that really did want to be around me. Even though it was hard I started pasting a fake smile on my face when I was around other people. After a while that fake smile became a realistic thing. I started to feel happy again. I started to see all the people that were surrounding me with love. I had no idea just how many people really do care about me. I may have lost that one friend, but I was still surrounded with so many true friends.
Lately I have really been going through my friends and deciding if they are really the kinds of people I want influencing my life. I have so many amazing friends in my life. If you look at my left sidebar you will see all my best friend's pictures listed. They are all such amazing people! The song that comes to my mind is "Count on Me" by Bruno Mars Some of the lyrics are: Find out what we're made of
When we are called to help our friends in need
[Chorus]
You can count on me like 1, 2, 3
I'll be there
And I know when I need it
I can count on you like 4, 3, 2
And you'll be there
'cause that's what friends are supposed to do oh yeah
ooooooh, oooohhh yeah yeah
You'll always have my shoulder when you cry
I'll never let go
Never say goodbye
It is such a good description of the friends I have! I can't think of one that wouldn't/hasn't bent over backwards to be there for me when I need someone. I really hope they know that there isn't something that I wouldn't do for them. My goal is to really strive to be a true friend like mine. :)
I absolutely LOVE going to the Empress!! It is so much fun! Since it is a local theater I usually know a few people that are in the plays which makes them all the more enjoyable. Last Friday (9th) I had the opportunity to go with my grandma to the opening night of "Annie Get your Gun!" . I must say that this is by far the best musical I have ever seen at the Empress! It accomplished a really hard task: It tied with my all time favorite "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" which is REALLY hard to do! If you have not seen this play yet then go!! It is so awesome!
I had a few friends in it: Perry, Skyler, Logan, and TyAnna. You guys did amazing! Good job!
