My Summer Job 2010
This summer I worked up at a Scout Camp and I had so much fun! I helped scouts earn their Webelos badge by teaching them Forester.
Forester is all about what it's name is forests. I am going to miss my job so bad (it just ended for the summer. =( ). The picture on the left is of our staff at camp.
This is my awesome friend at work named Guido. I had so much fun teaching forester with him! I am going to miss him SO bad! My friend Smiles little brother calls him Guido the Cheeto, but we all know he is more of a burrito. =)
This is Slim Jim. I love this picture! He stole my camera and took it himself. Towards the last last few weeks of camp I started to help down at the archery range which is where Slim Jim works. I had a ton of fun down there. Archery is only fun when you have fun directors teaching it with you. Otherwise it is a really boring class to help out.
This is my BFF Smiles! Smiles has been my best friend for about 6 years! I do not know what my life would be like without her! She taught Citizenship and Naturalist. Those classes are REALLY boring unless you have Smiles for a teacher!
Everyone at work knows that even though Smiles fits her, Giggles is a more appropriate name. At lunch she would often laugh for 10 to 15 minutes without stopping! Then Cupcake would join in which would make it last longer! Love ya Smiles!
I can't talk about smiles without talking about my other BFF Cupcake.
I've known Cupcake for about the same amount of time as Smiles. Cupcake and I have so many inside jokes its not even funny! All of our weird and embarrassing blond moments combined would fill so many books!
Cupcake taught Naturalist and Kickball this summer. Kickball was a struggle because nobody seemed to want to play it. Naturalist was amazing. I remember one time I was reading the
evaluations and found out that someone had chosen Cupcake as their favorite Staffer! She was so proud of that!
I love you Cupcake!
Now it's Kronk's turn. Kronk is probably one of the most hilarious people I've ever met! We did not talk much at first until about the last month of camp. His HUGE cheesy grin lit everybody up! I don't think he had any enemies at camp because he's so nice to everybody all of the time.
I would continue, but I have made so many friends up there that it'd take hours for me to tell you about all of them! I love you guys!
